Lady Charlisse Bristol sets off on a voyage in search of a father she never knew, only to find herself shipwrecked on a desert island. Near starvation, she is rescued by a band of pirates and their fiercely handsome leader, Edmund Merrick. Will Clarisse win her struggle against the seductive lure of this pirate captain? While battling his attraction to this winsome lady, Edmund offers to help Charlisse on her quest-until he discovers her father is none other than Edward the Terror, the cruelest pirate on the Caribbean. Can Edmund win this lady's love while shielding her from his lecherous crew and working to bring her father to justice?
I have never really been one to read Pirate type books. They are usually too intense for me. So when my friend handed me this story (threw it at my actually) I was a little apprehensive. That is until I found the beauty of T.L. Tyndall’s stories. The Redemption is an amazing story that kept me from doing anything except reading. I highly highly recommend this book to romance lovers everywhere.

They Called Her Mrs. Doc
When I am looking for a good Western to read I usually look no further then Janette Oke, Her books are older but true classics they make the read well worth it. "They called her Mrs Doc" is one of my favorites.
There had never been a reason to think of any other life, until he walked into hers. The only daughter of a noted Montreal physician and educator, Cassandra Dell Winston enjoys all the opportunities of Eastern society and affluence. She has never dreamed of any other life. Then a serious and conscientious young doctor begins coming to dinner, turning her world upside down. As Mrs. Samuel Smith, Cassandra agrees to move with her husband to the frontier. But nothing has prepared her for the difficulties of life out west. Dare she pray that the move is only temporary and they will soon return to the city? Will she ever be able to embrace life as "Mrs. Doc"?
This is Western at its best! Cassandras story is real and very well written. I recomend this book with 5 stars!

I just finished this book
I really love finding books by Christian authors who are still working their way up to the top. Fallen from Babel by T.L. Higley is one of those stories. I found this book in the bargin bin at a Christian store. The plot Intrigued me so I decided to check this author out, I was not disappointed.
Peter Thornton doesn't believe in God. Or rather, he doesn't believe in one God. All paths are valid. This is what he teaches his university students. One evening he ventures to his colleague's office in the archaeology department and touches an artifact recently discovered from ancient Babylon. Now he is in Babylon, three thousand years back in time. Somehow he knows the language-and the people know him as Rim-Sin, sorcerer in high priest to the gods of Babylon. The moment he arrives he is accused of murder-a murder Rim-Sin committed-and he must run for his life. Against the backdrop of Nebuchadnezzar's court, he and rival sorcerers vie with Beltshazzar, the Jewish upstart, for the king's favor. Will he get back home?
T.L. Higley writes from a view that readeras dont often get to see. Everyone knows the story of Daniel yet we don't often get to here about what else went on in the court of Nebuchadnezzar. This story held my attention and through in a couple of surprises as well. I would recommend this story to any reader who loves the Old Testament.
